Harlow Council has announced that DJ Tom Zanetti will perform on the evening of Friday 28 August at this year’s Harlow Town Show.
As one of the UK’s biggest dance music artists, he will be one of two headline acts across the weekend, with singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor set to take the bandstand stage on Saturday 29 August.
The Friday session will take place on the Showground in the big tent with a silent family disco from 4pm to 5.30pm and Tom Zanetti and UK Garage Chronicles headlining from 7pm to 11pm.
The Town Show returns to Harlow Town Park from Friday 28 August to Sunday 30 August, promising a packed programme of live music, family activities, and arena entertainment.
The event will feature performances, displays and attractions aimed at all ages, as well as celebrating the town’s community spirit.
First established in the 1960s, the Harlow Town Show became a major annual event throughout the 1970s and 1980s, attracting tens of thousands of visitors. After a brief revival in the 2000s, it is now returning as part of the council’s Building Harlow’s Future programme.
The entire weekend, including all headline acts, is completely free for everyone to enjoy.
Announcing the new act, Councillor Dan Swords, Leader of Harlow Council, said:
“We are delighted to welcome DJ Tom Zanetti to Harlow as part of this year’s Town Show. This is another big name in the UK music and entertainment industry secured to entertain residents in the Town Park and its completely free. We promised that big acts would be coming back to Harlow and they will be as the landmark Harlow Town Show returns this August Bank Holiday.”
