Following the local elections on Thursday 7 May 2026, the political makeup of Harlow Council is now:
- Conservatives 22
- Labour 10
- Reform 1
The following councillors have been newly elected:
- Councillor Geoff Longster (Conservatives) – Bush Fair
- Councillor John Steer (Conservatives) – Latton Bush & Stewards
- Councillor Simon Carter (Conservatives) – Little Parndon & Town Centre
- Councillor John Purse (Conservatives) – Mark Hall
- Councillor Colleen Morrison (Conservatives) – Netteswell
- Councillor Nidhi Hindocha (Conservatives) – Passmores
The following councillors were re-elected:
- Councillor Michael Hardware (Conservatives) – Church Langley North & Newhall
- Councillor James Leppard (Conservatives) – Church Langley South & Potter Street
- Councillor Matthew Saggers (Conservatives) – Great Parndon
- Councillor Sue Livings (Conservatives) – Old Harlow
- Councillor Emma Ghaffari (Conservatives) – Sumners & Kingsmoor
