Major milestones reached at Innovation Park as investment grows

Published date

Harlow Innovation Park on London Road is entering an exciting new phase, with momentum building as development accelerates and fresh job opportunities are created for local residents. The multi-million-pound site is generating new jobs, attracting significant private sector investment, and reinforcing Harlow’s reputation as a growing destination for business, innovation and community life.

Recent milestones include the official opening of the David Lloyd Harlow Club, the launch of The Social Club - a new café and social space open to the whole community - alongside ongoing improvements to parking and landscaping across the site. Work has also begun on the next major development, Identity, marked by a recent groundbreaking ceremony.

The Social Club is a new council-led development, offering a welcoming place to meet, recharge and connect. Its name reflects the site’s heritage, standing on land that once hosted several of Harlow’s historic social clubs, while reimagining that role for a new generation.

Commenting on the progress, Councillor Dan Swords, Leader of Harlow Council, said:

“Harlow Innovation Park shows what’s possible when we invest with ambition and purpose. These milestones are about more than new buildings - they’re about creating jobs, bringing people together and securing a strong future for our town.

“Every single day we are Building Harlow’s Future, and this is yet more proof of that progress.”

Together, these developments form a key part of Harlow Council’s mission to ‘secure our future’ as part of its plan to Build Harlow’s Future - ensuring Harlow continues to grow as a place where people want to live, work and invest.
