Harlow Council has completed works to transform the previously overgrown roundabout on Edinburgh Way near the Queensgate Retail Park.
This project is one of many the council has completed this year as part of its priority to restore pride in Harlow.
The works were carried out overnight to minimum disruption to road users.
Following the works Essex County Council have been asked to replace the broken and missing signs on the roundabout.

Councillor Nicky Purse, cabinet portfolio holder for sustainability and environment, said:
“The works have really transformed this roundabout which was previously full of overgrown bushes, shrubs and some of the trees had become dangerous. The roundabout has been completely cleared with a new low-maintenance landscaping scheme introduced, which has also improved visibility for motorists. This roundabout is one of the busiest and hardest roundabouts in the town to navigate.
“This year we have worked hard to restore pride in Harlow, and we will continue that work next year, and we will be making upgrades to other roundabouts in the town.
“From improving the look of roundabouts, to replacing streets signs, to cleaning the streets better, to cutting the grass more regularly, we will do what we can to put the heart back into Harlow.”
