The council ran a consultation on the main modifications to the pre-submission version of the Local Plan
The modifications made sure the plan was legally sound and addressed any issues raised by the Inspector and contributors to the examination.
The modifications were published for consultation in the schedule of main modifications (pdf).
A sustainability appraisal (pdf) and habitats regulation assessment (pdf) were also published and formed part of the consultation.

Household projections consultation
After the main modifications consultation, the Inspector raised queries with the council about the government’s publication of new 2018-based household projections.
On 4 September 2020, the council submitted a statement to the Inspector, in the form of a report updating overall housing need using the 2018-based projections (pdf)
This was consulted on as part of the examination process.
