Cancel
If you need to cancel your bulky waste collection booking you must call us on 01279 446655 at least 24 hours before the collection date. If a charge has been applied, we will be able to process your refund request at that time.
It is not possible to cancel and receive a refund (if a charge has been applied) if you do not do this.
Changes
You can make any changes to your booking at least 24 hours before your collection date by calling us on 01279 446655.
There is no guarantee that we will be able to add the additional items to your original booking if the service is at capacity for that day, or if you have exceeded the number of items.
We have to make a new booking with a new collection date for additional items – this will be at an additional cost.
Refunds
If you have left your items out to be collected and they are taken, either before or on the day of collection by anyone other than the council’s appointed contractor, we will not offer a refund unless you have cancelled the booking at least 24 hours before the collection date.
If the items booked are not left out at the agreed collection point on the collection day, we will not offer a refund.
If collections are delayed due to circumstances beyond our control such as bad weather or break down of vehicles, we will not offer a refund. We will offer you an alternative collection if necessary.
If you have placed additional items not listed on the original booking, we will not take these. Doing this may invalidate your whole booking and we will not offer a refund.
