Request a revisit
If you have made changes to improve your food hygiene rating and want to be rescored, you can ask us to revisit your premises before your next scheduled visit.
The fee for a revisit is £220.
You need to pay the fee before completing and returning your form. You can pay over the phone using a credit or debit card. Call us on 01279 446655 to pay, quoting reference: 2760 19412.
You need to write your payment receipt number on the revisit request form.
We will only carry out a revisit to rescore if:
- you have paid the fee
- you have provided sufficient evidence on your application form to show that you have made the required improvements
As a result of our revisit, your rating could go up, down or stay the same.
To apply for a revisit, you need to complete the food hygiene rating scheme request for a revisit form and return it to us.
