We take our responsibility for engaging with local people and businesses seriously.

Wherever we can, we aim to take your views into consideration when we make decisions about things that affect you.  We also want to increase the number and diversity of people who engage with the council to help make Harlow the best place it can be.

For more information about our commitment to engaging with local people, you can look at our Community Engagement Strategy (pdf)

Current consultations

Paddling pool consultation

We are running an independent consultation from 15 August to 20 September 2019 to get your views on the future of our paddling pools.

We know that many of you enjoy using the paddling pools, both as children and parents, and we want to improve them so you can continue to enjoy them in years to come.

We want to improve the pools because many of the facilities are now ageing and there is an opportunity to modernise them for the future.

We do not have any particular designs or plans for individual sites. We are open to your suggestions and want their future to be shaped by you.

Give us your views on improving the paddling pools

The consultation closes at 11.59pm on 20 September 2019.
