If you have a furnished second home, you will have to pay full Council Tax.
From 1 April 2025, we charge Council Tax in full plus an additional 100%.
If the property is required for work (for example a school caretaker required to live on site) you can apply for a second home discount of 50%.
From 1 April 2025, the government legislated for some exceptions to the additional charge.
