Adult Community Learning (ACL) offers courses for Essex residents such as apprenticeships, free English and maths, GCSEs and professional qualifications.

Harlow College offers a range of courses, including adult learning, apprenticeships, vocational training and higher education.

Stansted Airport College offers courses in aviation and business services, engineering and aircraft maintenance and hospitality, retail and events management.

New City College, Epping Campus offers a range of courses to allow to retrain and change careers, learn a new skill or get back into the workplace.

Hertford Regional College offers a range of courses in a number of subject areas.

Integration Support Services support the successful integration of migrants, refugees, ethnic minority communities and groups in Essex and Hertfordshire.

Skills Bootcamps (East of England) offer free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks and you'll be offered a job interview with an employer once you complete the course.

NWES located at the Harlow Enterprise Hub in Harlow offers access to business advice and support services as well as networking opportunities.

BEST Growth Hub offers a fully funded information and signposting service. 

The Princes Trust can help you start your own business through free mentoring and potential access to a start up grant, if you are aged under 30 years old.

There are a number of voluntary and community organisations in and around Harlow providing opportunities to volunteer.

Harlow Council has several volunteering opportunities, from helping to conserve our green spaces to looking after the animals at Pets’ Corner.
