We have to prepare an infrastructure funding statement each year, which provides a summary of developer contributions (also known as 'planning obligation') and show how these are being used to support new development and local infrastructure in Harlow.
The statement must include:
- developer contributions received in the reporting year
- developer contributions secured in the reporting year
- developer contributions spent in the reporting year
- developer contributions held at the beginning of the reporting year and at the end of the reporting year
- projects or infrastructure schemes which developer contributions have been received, secured or spent, including costs
It must also include information on non-financial schemes that have been agreed through a planning obligation, such as affordable housing units or school places, as well as contributions through the Community Infrastructure Levy.
