Voting in the general election

If you can't make polling day, you still have until 5pm on 26 June to apply for a proxy vote. If you will be voting in person, remember to bring your ID. No ID? Apply for a Voter Authority Certificate by 5pm on 26 June.

Inspector and Programme Officer

Harlow Council submitted the Local Plan (2011 to 2033) to the Secretary of State for examination in public on 19 October 2018.


David Reed BSc DipTP DMS MRTPI was appointed by the Secretary of State to carry out the examination and determine whether the Local Plan is sound.

The Inspector will consider the soundness of the plan based on the criteria set out in paragraph 35 of the National Planning Policy Framework.

Programme Officer

Andrea Copsey was appointed independently on behalf of the Inspector to organise and manage the administrative side of the examination.  

She was the point of contact for any questions about the examination, and all correspondence with the Inspector was addressed through her.
