We are redeveloping this vacant plot of land in Potter Street to construct 2 two-bedroom and 3 three-bedroom houses. Two of the three-bedroom houses will be adapted properties with fully accessible bathrooms and kitchens and a through floor lift.
The project will benefit from new hard and soft landscaping and associated parking.
The properties will support carbon emission reductions through solar panels and electric vehicle charging points.

Why the work is needed
The development will bring a vacant piece of land into use, create 5 new homes to help meet the needs of the Housing Needs Register and improve the overall street scene.

Timeline
Planning permission was granted in September 2023.
The scheme has been designed by Derrick Wade Waters Ltd and Architecture & Design Services Ltd.
The contractors are Hill Partnership Ltd.
Work is expected to start on site in August 2025.
The estimated project completion date is October 2026.
