We are redeveloping this underused site to deliver 14 new homes, including 3 x 3-bed adapted bed houses with fully accessible bathroom, kitchen and through floor lift.
The project will benefit from new hard and and soft landscaping and associated parking.
The properties will support carbon emission reductions through solar panels and electric vehicle charging points
Why the work is needed
The development will bring a vacant piece of land into use, create 14 new homes to help meet the needs of the Housing Needs Register and improve the overall street scene.

Timeline
Planning permission was granted in August 2023.
The scheme has been designed by Architecture & Design Services Ltd.
Demolition of Sherards House was completed in December 2023.
The contractors are Hill Partnership Ltd.
Work started on construction in June 2025.
The estimated project completion date is autumn 2026.
