Harlow Council has been offered 8 Solohaus units from The Hill Group.
Designed to be part of the solution to tackle the homeless crisis, Solohaus units are modular homes which help give people a step towards independence.
They are built to the highest standards of sustainability, efficiency and safety, with a 60 year life span.
These units will be self-contained and be powered via air source heat pumps and a communal hot water system.
Why the work is needed
The development will create temporary accommodation as part of our homelessness strategy.
