We redeveloped the old Lister House site in Staple Tye into new housing.
The new Perry Road site provides for 20 x 2-bed flats and 4 x 1-bed flats. This scheme has 4 x 2 bed adapted flats with rise and fall worktops in kitchens and wet rooms.
There is a ground floor commercial space, with new hard and soft landscaping and associated parking.
Why the work was needed
The former Lister House Medical Centre was demolished in 2019 following construction of a new medical centre on Abercrombie Way.
The development will provide new homes to help meet the increasing demand for housing in Harlow.
It will also link in with schemes at the Staple Tye Depot and Parnall Road.

Timeline
Planning permission was granted in September 2023.
The scheme was designed by architects McBains Ltd.
The contractors were Hill Partnerships Ltd.
Work started on site in August 2024.
The practical completion date was 26 February 2026.
