The vacant site at Parnall Road was purchased by Harlow Council in December 2022.
The project has seen construction of 5 x 2-bed flats and 5 x 3-bed houses one of which is an adapted house with rise and fall worktops in the kitchen, a wet room and a platform lift.
The project benefits from new hard and soft landscaping and associated parking.
The properties supports carbon emission reductions through solar panels and electric vehicle charging points.
Why the work was needed
The project provides new homes to help meet the increasing demand for housing in Harlow.
The development of this site links in with schemes at the Perry Road (the former Lister House site) and Staple Tye Depot.

The scheme was designed by architects McBains Ltd.
The contractors were Hill Partnerships Ltd.
Work started on site in July 2024.
