HMO conversions
There is a town-wide Article 4 direction affecting HMO conversions across the whole of Harlow:
The direction has been in place since 12 April 2021 and means that from this date all conversions to HMO, regardless of size, will require full planning permission before the conversion can take place.
Applications for planning permission will need to comply with the planning policies set out in the Local Plan.
