As of 31 March 2023, there:

  • are 8 members of staff whose remuneration is between £50,000 and £55,000.
  • are 12 members of whose remuneration is between £55,000 and £60,000.
  • are 8 members of staff whose remuneration is between £60,000 and £65,000.
  • is 1 member of staff whose remuneration is between £65,000 and £70,000.
  • are 2 members of staff whose remuneration is between £70,000 and £75,000.
  • are 7 members of staff whose remuneration is between £75,000 and £80,000.
  • is 1 member of staff whose remuneration is between £85,000 and £90,000.
  • is 1 member of staff whose remuneration is between £95,000 and £100,000.
  • is 1 member of staff whose remuneration is between £100,000 and £105,000.
  • is 1 member of staff (Chief Executive - Head of Paid Service with effect from 16-12-2022) whose remuneration is between £105,000 and £110,000.
  • was 1 member of staff (Chief Executive – Head of Paid Service- leaver on 26/07/2022) whose remuneration was between £105,000 and £110,000.

Pay multiple

The pay multiple is the ratio between the highest paid salary and the average and lowest salaries in the council.

The ratio of the Chief Executive's salary to the council’s median full time equivalent salary (£28,315) is 4.68:1

The ratio of the Chief Executive's salary to the lowest full time equivalent salary (£17,423) is 7.61:1
